Frequently Asked Questions – myGMT Prepaid Card

A card without your name on it is issued immediately for a cost of NIS 35 

This card can be obtained at authorized GMT branch.

A card with your name imprinted on it costs NIS 60.

Delivery time is about a week, and the card is collected from the branch where it was ordered.

For topping up at a GMT branch in cash – NIS 27.

For topping up online from your myGMT wallet – NIS 15.

The commission is fixed and does not depend on the amount of top up.

Monthly card fees – NIS 12.90 per month.

The commission is collected at the end of each month from the balance on the card.

* The information is subject to change at the discretion of the Max credit company and/or the  GMT company.

* The maximum monthly top up cannot exceed ₪ 10,000 cumulatively for all the cards.

* Subject to approval from Max and to the Terms and Conditions for joining and using the card. E&OE.

Use of a prepaid card for an installment transaction or a standing order is not allowed.

All types of cards (Shekel card, Dollar card, and the Euro card) can be topped up in cash or by credit card at the GMT locations nationwide.

The shekel card can also be topped-up online on the myGMT website:

1. Send a direct bank transfer to your myGMT wallet: Bank Hapoalim 12, Branch 613, Account no. 545690
2. Use your credit card to credit your myGMT wallet.

• Our digital wallet enables you to load shekels into it and transfer the funds to your card whenever you choose, thereby controlling your money and preventing unnecessary expenses.

The card allows you to make physical or online purchases at businesses in Israel and abroad. You can use it to pay bills, such as municipal property tax (Arnona), water, and electricity. Of course, you can also easily withdraw money from any ATM in Israel and abroad.

• A commission will be charged on cash withdrawal transactions abroad via ATM according to the policy of the banks abroad.

The card is personal; it cannot be ordered or topped up for someone else.

A card can be issued to any Israeli or foreign resident 18 years or older.

– Foreign resident with a valid work visa

– A tourist without a valid work visa cannot receive a loaded card
